what to expect at PWR house

With a good dose of upbeat music and dynamic moves, you’re going to leave PWR House Pilates feeling energised and happy! My 55 minute classes are designed to test your physical strength and body awareness. I will customise your workouts and modify exercises to your individual needs. I will guide you through controlled and precise movements which target specific muscles.

I am committed to training your ‘powerhouse’ which in turn will be beneficial in supporting your spine and posture. If injuries or limitations are holding you back, I will give you mindful movements to promote your joint flexibility and range of movement.

Why choose REFORMER?

Reformer pilates is a low impact form of exercise which is gentle on your joints and hugely beneficial when recovering from an injury. The reformer allows you to target specific muscles which enhance your overall balance, strength and stability.  

Most pilates exercises place emphasis on your core engagement aka your powerhouse which promotes flexibility and realignment of the body and spine. By adding springs to certain movements on the reformer, you can increase the exercise resistance and intensity to build strength.

As a new mum I know it can be hard to find the time for you. Reformer pilates will give you the space and time you need to think of nothing else but your mind-body connection. The controlled movements on the reformer provide a gentle yet effective way to stay active without adding unnecessary stress to the body.  

My program will provide you with personalised care and expert guidance to ensure that the exercises are suitable for your specific needs and challenges. Our sessions will place emphasis on engaging your deeper abdominals and pelvic floor. We will focus on extension and rotation of the upper body alongside stretching and lengthening of the lower body.
